Lived im Canberra 2 years now, dont mind heading out to the stadium every so often for a Raiders game though I don't support them. When did the prices go up to $40 an adult?! Me and some mates were keen on heading there tonight to watch SBW but turned around at the gate. Understand most of uou are members but for those that aren't, how on earth do uou afford it?

Was $27 for adults today at Kogarah. That wasnt General Admission either, it was a seat in the Knights supporters bay.

To be 100% accurate it was $38 with a $2 credit card surcharge. Disappointing. I'm going to ring the stadium and ask if it was just for tonight or its a permanent thing. The pricing structure was differemt as well. Whereasformerly it was grandstand or bowl, tonight it was grandstand (48) bowl (38) or 'GA' (38) which is apparently just the shit grandstand seats.

Now I know they're trying to sell memberships but for non-Raiders fans it's a pretty hefty price. I think the chicl on the gate had copped some flak over it because we told her it was too high and she sort of sullenly said yeah I know

According to Perth Red that is affordable and a person can a day at the footy for under $50.

Hope he sees this because he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.

That is hideous. I didn't realise it had gotten so expensive down there, I thought that was just the sort of rubbish stadiums Queensland dished out.

It's 28 bucks at ticketek and online. It's ticketek fees it's up to like 33 for adult.

Don't buy at the ground.

Best bet would be to buy a season ticket.

Yeah Canberra up the prices at the gate. Buy online and print out your tickets - even day of.

I'll never understand why people wait till they get to the gates to buy tickets. Buy online, it's half the price and you can even buy them the day of the event.

Yet every week I see lines of people waiting to buy tickets going out towards the car park.

Yeah i can understand it myself, Canberra Stadium is notorious for it's under staffed way at the gate too, so if you show up near kick off, you'll likely miss the start

the prices at the gate i think are trying to incentivise the online purchase, which will ultimately save the CS money on wages etc, but those prices are still absurd. As are most around the country, if you cant get you and a kid in to watch the footy for under $30 they are absolutely kidding themselves

Im a season ticket holder with foxtel, so i doesnt effect me, but it makes it hard to drag mates along when they are up for $50 to get in and buy a single drink
