Cannings v Heckenburg ?

Hecks had an Absolute BLINDER! last night v the Cowboys, and was easily the best player on the park.

I didnt watch a great deal of the Parra game and was wondering how Cannings went?

I firmly believe we got the better deal :lol:

Long term Cannings is light years ahead of Heckenberg....im still happy with the buy & plus it's not quiet the same playing the Bulldogs then NQ.

Yesterday Cannings ALWAYS made metres every time he got the ball AND he always made metres with at least two players on him.

He dropped a bit too much ball, but that will get better.

Hex is great when he wants to be, but trust me - he is VERY inconsistent. One moment he has a blinder and then he is ordinary.

I agree - long-term, we got the better deal. Cannings will play for New Zealand.

Cannings didn't look like a $200, 000 a year player last night. Though he's got potential and will improve.

Very happy with Hecks perforamance. He seems to be a real goer. Hopefully it wont be a one off.

We got the better deal with Cannings...He will only get better.

Heckenburg seems very inconsistent.

i totally agree heckenburg got more then his fair sare of chances last yr with all our injuries and did absolutly nothing to help us? i dont see how you can even compare cannings and heckenburg?

I dont think there was anything wrong with Heckenberg, I always thought he was a good forward with Parramatta and still cant understand why Smith let him go.

And I dont understand why people are still bagging him, what games were they watching last year and the year before :? ??

He's better than these other reject forwards we picked up, Pearson, Stapleton and Moi Moi :roll:

Stuff Heckenberg. The one Parramatta is going to regret losing is Kane Cleal.

Keeping Heckinberg was definately a better option than buying Corey Pearson. Stapleton might turn out OK.

Letting Dunley go was a pretty ordinary move unless we can find someone to fill that role (maybe Thorman)

Heckenberg didnt rreally do much until it appeared we wouldnt re sign him, then he dug deep to try and get a contract

Armit and Tsoulos are better prospects than kane cleal.
