Cant count Brisbane out of the G/F

The way Brisbane toyed with the pie's on the weekend, looked like a training run. If they can beat west coast this weekend look out every other team in the AFL, they have the taste of finals footy back. They have size and speed, + have been there for the last 4 years.

What does everyone else think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't argue it.

Brisbane is a formidable side in what shapes as the most ordinary VFL/AFL competition in my memory. I've never seen a larger compliment of average sides, although it is serving to ensure an even and unpredictable season, which is great from a neutral standpoint. In fairness to sides like Geelong & St Kilda, both are clearly ahead of other sides in the 8, but have been made to look ordinary largely due to shocking injury quotas.

As for Brisbane, we'll get a stronger sense of exactly how they're going this weekend. If they can run West Coast close in Perth then we can be certain that they're in this competition up to their ears, but if they can beat West Coast in Perth then they must assume favouritism for the title.

Agree 100% i'm just loving that Eddie Mcquire's team 'Collingwood' are having such a bad seasion since he always comes out and gives it to Brisbane and Leigh Mathews.

But facts remain, Brisbane won 3 premierships purely off the back of having an unfair advantage over the rest of the competition.

I'd love to see how Brisbane would travel if they opened the salaries up and allowed the Big Four plus West Coast & Adelaide spend whatever the hell they liked poaching everyones players...

They would be sh*tter than their SOO team which would be a fair effort I must say, given the pathetic, gutless football those rednecks produced in games 2 & 3.

Hey dont bring in the Queensland RL team (we were going along fine until bloody Johns came along) Also the Lions wouldnt drop someone like aker, like QRL did to slater.

I just keep thinking of the games they lost earlier in the season, Bulldogs, Kangaroos and Richmond all ran them off their feet... if teams start doing that again (eg eagles this week) then they should run all over the Lions.
