Seriously, as much as they might talk up 98, they've got nothing. The Grand Final and before that, Major semi* carve up in 86 was redemption for the previous 2 seasons

When they have to go back ten years they really are struggling...... mind you. Beating them in a preliminary final or a grand final would be sweet. Might not happen for a while though.

couldn't agree more Ron - dogs fans generally get nothing but joy out of any parramatta misery, so as far as I am concerned they can go get f**ked

funnily enough the dogs were my 2nd favourite team as a kid ... cos my mum went for them (she grew up around campsie - back when it wasn't a sh*t hole) .... so I liked the dogs back then

but a combination of: super league, dickhead players, dickhead administrators, breaking laws, cheating, dickhead players, f**kwit fan behaviour, dickhead players, f**kwit fan behaviour, dick players has led me down a path of hating the dogs

How good was that game! Bookends absolutely smashed the more fancied Bulldogs pack. That game won us the Grand Final two weeks later I reckon, gave us the mental toughness (or them the mental demons) to not crack for 80mins.

One of my favourite Parramatta matches I've been to.

The Bulldogs were a quality side.
