It got canned after a trial. Not sure why. Regardless the forward pass & knock on by Graham we're pretty obvious and should have been picked up on field. So many of the on field misses should be called by the on field officials, that is their job. Archer puts no pressure on the refs so there is no consequence for repeated poor performance. Introduce some level of accountability and the officiating will improve. Until then it will still be a mess.

The captains challenge is a great idea.
Problem is it takes the control away from the referees to orchestrate the game.
The NRL do not like that idea.
The referees are manipulating games to justify TV networks ratings.
Until the NRL take back the power from the networks,crowds will not attend games.Networks don't care about crowds.They just tighten the camera lens.
The refereeing will remain in the abysmal state it's in now, and the game will be slowly dying.
No crowds.No fans.No Sponsors. DEAD...

Spot on forward passes are killing this game. A result on a foward pass just ruins the contest as in our case. That was our 2 competition points which could really bite us on the back end of the year. Really peeves me off.
