actually, you'll find through majority of the "caption this picture" threads that there are always mano-e-mano comments made, regarless of who's the feature player or referee of the day..

you'll find that the majority (not all) the comments with a sexual innuendo are made for the toilet humour aspect, not to cast a more sinister undertone.

so essentially you're saying it's okay to make a joke with a sexual innuendo about a straight player, but not a gay one?

what happened to equal rights?

Get your point Muzby but the point of Chechin's performance was his diabolical refereeing & the gratuitous sexual references smack of petty-mindedness & immaturity. The captions on the refereeing are witty but the others are just base...but whatever...just my opinion. If the references were race-based, gender-based etc etc, my opinion would be the same - there's humour in doing just that but some people cross the line imo. Just posting my opinion like everyone is entitled to

Agree, & it was posted for that reason...small-minded & some of the responders jumped on the bandwagon while some took the refereeing context. Regardless, interesting to see who responded in which way. Said my piece...wouldn't be surprised if this thread dies a natural death, posters on here may be out there in their comments but the majority on here aren't crass ;-)
