Carney, Myles and Nu'uausala allegedly break team booze ban.

ROOSTERS officials have launched an investigation into reports that star trio Nate Myles, Todd Carney and Frank-Paul Nu'uausala broke a team booze ban in the early hours of this morning.

The latest drama to beset the Bondi club comes just over a week after the entire team agreed to embark on a fortnight-long alcohol ban, in the wake of concerns from the senior player group over deteriorating off-field behaviour.

How many last chances is Carney entitled too? Someone remind me please.

FMD if a team gives itself a 2 week alcohol ban and it can't even stick to that...there are some serious issues there that explain their slide this year. Way too much talent for the bottom 4.

Roosters fans, if the allegations are proven true would you want your club to sack Carney?

Just shows how far Smith has gone insofar as player respect.

If a young guy or two mucks up a bit they get pulled back into line.

But when a chunk of your senior players are doing this it seems like it is the tip of the iceberg.

From experience at the Wests Tigers I can tell you that while Noyce is a solid influence for players and very fatherly in approach he is far too soft on player discipline and under his leadership the lunatics began running the asylum at Concord. The same appears to be happening at Moore Park. To interested in being a guide for players than supporting his coaching staff with the strength required to run a footy club.

I hope for the Chooks sake it isnt true. But with Noyce steering the ship nothing suprises me

Even if the reports are true there will be the usual chorus of people saying that Carney has done nothing wrong, yet again.

A cab driver called the club to say he had 3 players as a fare?

Surely there is more to it than that. Seems an odd thing for a taxi driver to do if thats actually all that happened.

I find it very hard to believe Todd Carney would be responsible for any alcohol-related indiscretions.

The Daily Telegraph has learned that a cab driver phoned the club earlier today to inform officials of a fare they hailed between a Double Bay hotel and an Oxford St pub late last night.

It's actually quite sad that the bloke can't stay away from the pub (Carney). It's even worse considering that his friends surely can see he has a problem and yet still go along for the ride (or rope him into it).

Sack him now!

Also, sack Brian Smith!

Also, withdraw from the league and hand back the license!

Three adults out on the drink.

So, whats the story here? I was out with 7 mates on Friday night and we ended up getting into a minor scuffle in an eastern suburbs pub. The bouncers broke it up quick smart and we continued having a good time.

Glad the papers didn't get a hold of it and that none of you saw it. I'd be sacked, divorced and the first man to be hanged in Oz since 1967.

And I don't buy the cab thing either. Who was driving it? Nick Politis?

Thank f**k I am not a footballer.

It's not hard to assume they were all on the p1$$ but so far, the story is - 3 plears caught a taxi.

I mean WOW!!!!!

No reports of misbehaviour or anti-social behaviour. No reports that they in fact were drinking. No police involvement either.

Is the news that they actually caught a taxi?

This isn't just any 3 adults on the drink. The team as a whole agreed a week ago to stay off the drink for a fortnight.

A week later 3 players are out in the middle of the night, one of them a recovering alcoholic with serious issues with drinking.

How do you think their teammates would feel hearing this today?

You don't agree to do things and then less than a week later break that promise.

And also shows you how much Myles and FPN give a damn about Carney. If they were real mates they'd have agreed to hang out at home or something to keep him company if he was feeling bored. They wouldn't agree to go out to club hotspots with an alcoholic. Mates look out for each other, they don't enable each others addictions.

Thew news is they broker their team ban.
It's all speculation anyway, and very unlike the DT to sensationalise a story.

Have you always been a menopausal whining bitch?
