Todd Carney is on his last chance at the Sharks with the club now considering cutting him for next season.
The Sharks aren't happy with Carney's form on the field and performance off it - hence the interest in Benji Marshall.
There is a feeling within the club that Carney has taken his foot off the gas since suspended coach Shane Flanagan left the Sharks.
Carney will need to show his undoubted talent on the field over the next few months and produce it consistently if he wants to stay at the club long term.​
