Reynolds is nowhere near ready for Origin. I say replace Buhrer with Aaron Woods or Ryan Hinchliffe, preferably Woods and let Farah play the full game.

Agree with this. Farah can play 80 and the bloke showed no signs of slowing down. He's got quite an engine in him for a Hookee and bought a very decent spark yesterday. I was happy with Farah. IMO all we need is 1-2 changes and Carneycto find his confidence and we have our team for this series and the next. Tamou impressed me allot.

I wasnt saying have Reynolds as a utility, moreso a spark/impact player who is a tough nut. Farah can def play 80 mins.

Reynolds gives away too many penalties. He is cut from the Ennis cloth and we need to keep stupidity to a minimum during Origin,. Controlled aggression yes, sheer stupidity in tight games, no thanks.

I think he put in two poor kicks in general play prior to the conversion attempt. He started bad, and he got progressively worse.

Given his performances in big matches, and his poor life choices off the field, you have to wonder if poor old Toddy isn't a little bit fragile.

I really hope this doesn't affect the rest of his season, and I really hope they give him another chance. Even if they didn't extend Farah the same courteousy after his lacklustre display in 09!

Carney had a shocker no doubt but he's the best 5/8 we have, has to be there.

I thought Soward played well last year, I wouldn't have blown up if he was there this year, unlucky.
Carney is the most talented half in NSW and I know talent isn't everything, but the guy is too good to leave out.

:lol: Your kidding right? Okay look some people are calling for Carneys head but what you want us to drop him after one game to being back a one dimensional Soward? What did he offer us? He had the chance to grab last series by the neck and shake it and he failed.

And what Soward made one Origin play in G2 last year and that warrants his selection? Good on him but that was a piss-easy pass and Pearce was perfect in his timing to get it to Soward. Please name me some Other Origin plays Soward made last year? Guess what players like Johns, Fittler, Lockyer, Daley, Thurston, Cronk did that every Origin game and continue to. Did they have great debuts? No but it took them time to get into the origin frame. The halves is an intimidating position to debut in and it's a big-step up from club footy.

Carney is there now and we will stick with him.

I don't think Bellamy wanted him there to begin with and needed a MOTM performance to keep his spot. I f**king hated that too.
Being 28 and injuries taking their toll I think Campese will only ever be a 1 game wonder. Sad really, the guy has all the makings of a great Origin 5/8

He too (Campese) suffers from stagefright just like Carney. Campese in recent years has played far too much befoe the line and has been reluctant to take on the line, where he is most effective.

Once he gets going, he is near unstoppable but sadly, he will never be the player he once was and rep footy has passed him by.
