Both competing clubs in Sunday’s LHF Healthplan National League One Grand Final have been approved for promotion to the engage Super League in 2006 and go into the game at the Halton Stadium knowing that victory will mean that they will compete in the elite league in 2006.

That's a good thing. I like how they leave the announcement until the week of the grand final, helps with the build-up and motivation for the teams as well.

Nervous time for both teams and their supporters, just one game between them and the next level. Cas might be better prepared for survival if they make it back up, but Haven will be trying to do better than Leigh did if they come out the winners.
