Hawkspur by the length of the Caulfield straight. Shades of Might and Power.

Waller has a mortgage on it. Watch for Rhys McLeod to absolutely slaughter Ethiopia like he has every start since the derby.

Who do you like?

Got Dandino at 20's and had a little bit on Jetaway after his turnbull run. But yes Hawkspur is the horse to beat.

With zero French horses in the field, i'm going to have something e/w on Waldpark..

Can't wait for the race, it's always a great betting affair..

What's the forecast? Royal descent has 5 legs in the wet. Few people around tipping Dandino Hiney. Don't know much about it.

Dandino is one of the most travelled racehorses in the world..

He's raced in 6 different countries, & last start won a Gp1 in the USA..

He's run 2nd in the Hardwicke Stakes (Gp2) in England, which has been a good form race for the Caulfield Cup..

He's got good form for this race..

My mate who studies the international form pretty well tipped him to me a while back, said he was a better chance in the Caulfleild Cup rather than the big one. Fairly open race as is it normally is, i like to back a few early in the spring back something i really like on the day and have a first 4. Thinking of rovering Hawkspur with a 5 or 6 runners.

Both of Gai's hopeless hacks got in his way 1/2 a dozen times. Absolute certainty beaten. Will win the Melbourne Cup.

So threw $10 each way on Fawkner and Dandino today... Not too shabby
