I hope our guys have got some good sledges ready for Tim... you'd expect it wouldn't take much to put a fragile desperate comeback kid off his game?

I'd hope they stay away from his state of mind if they're gonna verbal him.....

Just two words. BOMBS AWAY!!!

Surely Stuart can't stick Kelly back there for the kicks.

I have a bad feeling about this game :(

On paper that's really not a bad team. I hope we don't end their losing streak 2 years in a row.

Defensively that sharks backline can be very woefull

a dry track, we negotiate their forward pack, then we could run rings around them

we've goto go forward 1st and they will be fired up, our forwards have to make inroads for our backs to score points.

Here we go again with your hatred towards Karl. Did he sleep with your ex girlfriend or something? Before you comment and say he shouldn't be in the team i suggest you go out and watch him play because he was by far our best player on the weekend and his players player award suggests that, so for you to say he is lucky to be there after a man of the match performance again just shows how little you know, you also made the comment that he was not even considered last week yet played and the week before that he was 18th man.

Benoir was also out at the game and he said he had a blinder. For his 1st game to play 60min in the 2nd row and score 2 tries i think he deserves a bit of credit. No one is calling for him to play NRL just yet, i am one of his biggest fans but i still think he needs at least 2 -3 months of good solid form before the coaching staff start to consider him.

Get off his back already and don't comment until you go out there and watch him play.

hatred?? :?...honestly, get your hand of it, I don't hate the bloke and it would be fantastic if the guy turns out to be a saviour but better judges than you and me who are involved at the club tell me that he's a long way to go but according to some of you lot, he should captain our first grade side, blokes like Danny Howard, Blake Blackburn, Pele and Allgood are much more valuble to that side and by comparason have been completely ignored by you lot.

The same people who told you he wasn't considered last week?

No one is saying he is ready for NRL yet. I just think he has a lot of potential and can still make it in the nrl one day and its great to see he is in the lower grades at parra and being only 21 and going on his perfromance last week he still has plenty to offer.

what about Luke Young?? was also a late inclusion and scored a try, any word on how he played, or shouldn't we care?

by the way, you should read some of caylo's post, apparently he is ready.

I also stated that trent rose, robinson and lasalo have all been playing well of late to and had good games on the weekend. If caylo thinks karl is ready then that is caylo's opinion. I think in about a month or two he may start to be considered after few more good performances.
He would still be behind a few players when it comes to getting a crack in the 1st grade side, but never have i said pick him now. I have just said what i have seen of him and the potential he has and what i think he could offer to the team if given a shot.

I hope you're right, because we need as much help as we can in fg but you'd have to agree that it woulf take a massive injury toll for him to be considered.

Of course it would mate, the guy played 1 first grade game 2 years ago lol he is not ready just yet.

He will need to keep producing solid performances and injuries and poor form in the top grade will be what gives him his shot.

Robson > Tim Smith.

But even then, unless our pack actually decides to turn up and have a real go this week - bend the line, and not give the ball up in early tackles - then we have no hope.

DA needs to get them pumped for the first half and then see what happens for a change.
