No matter how much he was passed "fit" it's still a massive risk taking someone into a GF with a dodgy hammy, especially given how easy they can go and given the bloke is on the back end of his career. I think it'll come back and bite them on the arse.

i was kinda hoping that we could draft Paul Osbourne in at the last minute just like in 1994...

but great news for Nathan and the team. bring it on.

Even if he wasn't passed fit, I woulda put him on the bench and given him a minute or 2 at the end.

Good news that he is good to go.

tbh I'm just a bit disappointed we didnt see Cayless in hyberbaric chamber - thats one thing missing from this GF week, the good old battle against the clock in the hyperbaric chamber

I actually miss the days of the rack, Caylo would look on the rack with all of us Eels supporters watching and cheering his hamstring on to victory

Nice thought, but suicide in a grand final and something I doubt Caylo would have wanted.

Oh I am sooo please for Caylo!!!!!!

We watched them train from the balcony at Sterlo's, I was sooo nervous for him.

it's fantastic news...but you know, if you really wanted to test the hammy, today would of been a perfect day to do that...I hope Brod doesn't get too comfortable

Interview with Jeff Robson on 2GB, is that Cayless got through no problems so looks like Brod can sit back and relax.

Didn't Robson sound relaxed. Said he would most probably sleep most of the day tomorrow before the game.

Sounded like he was back playing for Leeton, great to hear/see the players so relaxed compared to 2001.
