Announce a new coaching set-up - Brian Noble as head coach, Jon Sharp as first team coach and Iestyn Harris as assistant. Three very experienced top-level performers, this is extremely positive news IMO.

There also set to name at least 4 new players soon also.

David Mills I have heard rumoured.

The most important thing for Noble to do is look towards the future and give White, L Mills, Dudson and Batemen pro contracts for next year. Give Flower a starting second row spot, Kear a FB or at worst Wing spot, Mills games off the bench, White starting halfback or five-eight and Batemen in the squad.

Fill in the gaps with some new signings and they should be reasonably competitive in 2010 and beyond.

Kear has signed a pro contract, and I expect the others to in the coming weeks. I don't think it would be wise to base the team on 20 year old Welshmen with about 10 first grade games between them though. They need some imported quality and experience still while these players develop.

Yeh that's why I didn't mention him in the list of players that should get pro contracts  ;-).

Orfcourse, I didn't mean base the side around those youngsters, I meant build for the future and give the best juniors you have starting spots and import professionals around them to build the team.

They only have 10 pro contracted players so far for next season, so they are basically starting from scratch. I would expect White, Batemen, Dudsonand Lewis Mills to join that list shortly. That would make it 14 so they'll have to import around 8-10 players. Priority signing would be a top-class half to work with White, some classy outside backs and a bit more up front.
