Just wondering? With our lot it doesn't seem to matter that much. With the Roosters, their newbies lift their team's game. Our newbies? We seem to drag 'em down. Hope it turns around. We shoulda nailed last week's game.....instead we threw it away.

Ryan Morgan is still on the open market, he is getting better with each game & would come pretty cheap.

I thought I heard Matt Cooper to Penrith but can't see anything about it on any of the Penrith or St George sites so maybe it was just they are interested.
Can't even tell you where I heard it as I wasn't paying attention but read this and thought I would mention it given the thread title.

They were after Mike Cooper I think. A pommie prop from Warrington.

Didn't get him. Dragons did

Must be the voices.Whoever it was said Ben Creagh was re-signing for 2 years (or an option or something that will keep him there)with the Queens and I just automatically switched off when they mentioned it but heard Cooper-Penrith and thought it a bit odd.

Hmmm not really, didn't think Wright was that good a signing to begin with.

Chambers I believe is a genuinely good player, although playing for the Storm probably helps

Our centre problem would of been solved with 3 simple additions.

1. Caved to the All Black centre we were negotiating with and given him what he wanted.

2. Giving Kane Linnett the exttra cash he asked for before he signed with the Cowboys. If you knew the amount we haggled over, you would cry.

3. Not brough Heino and Beau, and threw the money at Jennings. We had 2 aces up our sleeve in Lewy and Flash, and didnt use them.

Pity.

This being true, and I have no reason to doubt you, someone in our club needs reaming. FMD.

1. If it was Ma Nonu was it ever likely he would leave Union ?

2. If 20k seems a miss by us.

3. Getting Beau was a good thing. Champion bloke, great for PR ( and we need that) and an upgrade on what we had.

Never mind Heino and Ryan money, Heino and Jono Wright money for me. But we can never miss the chance to bolster the second row.

Just missed Dylan Farrel too. Signed for the Dragons.

Beau Ryan is the most marketable player in the club.
Worth so much more than just what he does on the field.

It gives me the irrits that we can't buy a decent centre or winger.

How about Michael Oldfield, he is fast and can't crack it for a gig at the Roosters. Even with Nick's cash they must be under salary cap pressure and you could probably pick him up this year.

Just sayin.

Maurice Blair. Doesn't seem a chance for the storm. Knows our club and probably most of the guys cause he is up here half the week. Gotta be worth a look and see if we can take him off their hands.
