In all honesty I think we would have more success with playing 2 backrowers in the centres. f**k knows we haven't used our centres as an attacking weapons since Kimmorley came to town. Even the best centre in the world at the time (Vagana) could do sh*t all to help us. He is best when he is given space and that always seems to be in short supply when Noddy is at half.

I will put money that Vags will improve at least 3 fold next year.

Grose has been killing it in the UK, from what I've seen on fox anyway.

Now a very experienced player with pace.

I think Grose got player of the year for his club and possibly fullback of the year....not sure
IMO he was very good defensively before he left and I believe he played centre on the weekend for Warrington??
Possibly wing but it wasn't fullback which is good cause he won't get a crack here at fullback.
If we could get the other 2 Andersons that would be superb!!
Louis can basically slot in anywhere, not too sure how well Vinnie has done
in the UK though.
Gorrell would be a good pickup aswell, smart player

If we got Louis he could play left centre. Jarrod can come back and play left wing then we'd have this

1. Simmons
2. Anderson
3. Anderson
4. Anderson
5. Anderson
6. Dykes
7. Kimmorley

No! I would rather have Pamela, Wil, or even Hans Christian before Jarrod.

I don't think so Snoop. IMO he will come back a much better player than when he left, I said the same about Albert but he was fully matured when he went over there.
I really think Grose would be a great buy if we can get him.

Vinnie Anderson, we are enquiring about his contract situation. Source is Greg Pierce in an email to me today.

any more news on the situation?

he would be a great signing hopefully he can help his brother improve and we could have a big centre pairing of the the two monsters

Brent Grose is on his way home as well.
yes
praise simmo's lord!!!!

I've been sucking on about something for a while..and it's Grose.

He has been killing them over there.

Why we let him go is beyond me... but no suprise.

I really hope the rumours about Grose are correct. Always rated him highly and was shocked we let him go.

His profile on the Warrington site sings his praises, but states he is tied up unitl at least the end of 2008 after extending his contract.

Brent Grose

Height: 1.82m
Weight: 92kg
DOB: 11/9/79
Signed: 2003
Contracted Until: November 2007
Warrington's Player of the Season in 2005, the cool-headed Australian enhanced his growing reputation with a confident transition from centre to fullback. He made more metres than any other back in Super League last season, and was ranked the leading outside back in the competition on the OPTA index. A cool and classy performer who has matured into one of the most dangerous strike players in the game, especially from long range. A solid defender with deceptively strong upper body strength and good footwork, Grose is a genuine all round three-quarter who fits any role in the backline. A Cronulla junior who was the Sharks' "Rookie of the Year" when he broke into first grade in 2001, Grose signed for South Sydney Rabbitohs on their readmittance to the NRL in 2002, finishing the season as the club's top scorer. Agreed a deal with Warrington for 2003 whilst on a backpacking trip around Europe with friends, he was hailed as the "find of the year" by coach Paul Cullen after a fine first season. Has since signed two contract extensions which will now see him stay in Warrington until at least the end of 2008. The model overseas professional, Grose has barely missed a game in his three seasons with the Wolves.
