Should’ve rigged it too keep the two hull clubs apart

Surely this is played in hull and not Leeds or hudds
Quarter Finals are usually still home ties. Hull KR, Catalans, Castleford and St Helens all hosted home ties last year.

Semi Finals are normally at neutral venues (last year - St Helens and Doncaster).

Yes, this is a home tie for us.

Expected to get a tough tie away, so a tough tie at home will have to do.

We are the underdogs so we have nothing to lose. All the pressure is on KR.

Cup crowds are meh any chance this sells out ?
Unlikely, everyone has to pay and HKR fans restricted to 3,700. Then again the cup in Hull still has prestige and theres a buzz on both sides of the city. HFC after beating Wigan will fancy their chances and HKR being the stronger side will fancy there's.
Incredibly its the first all Hull CC tie since 1986!

If HFC give HKR both ends to sell then its a good chance of selling out.

Why would hull kr be restricted for this game when it might not sell out. Is that just the away end?

What’s stopping kr fans from buying in other parts of the ground or is that a no no for security

Would think kr would bring way more than 4¥ for this

yes security reasons mean the smc and police dictate who can buy what and where. With it being a cup game and everyone paying there should be no reason HKR couldnt be given both ends to sell.

HFC have a system where you can only by tickets for derbies in the HFC sections if youve bought tickets within a specified period from them before to stop HKR fans buying in other sections.

So if hull kr sell out their first allocation and there’s other bits that aren’t sold they just get another allocation

Didn’t think they would need to be segregated tbh just thought that was a soccer thing

Given how poor cup crowds are this will probably be bigger than the semi final crowds

Seen semi crowds were they are like under ten k for the big super league clubs

No. HKR will be given an allocation, usually one end of 3,700. When gone thats it.
Given HFC wont have to move members as all pay on the day it will be interesting to see how much of the other 22k seats they are confident of filling.
Also they probably dont want to water down home ground advantage and 7.5k rovers fans at each end are going to make some noise!

Normally far less segregation factor but this is the Hull derby and everyone is rightfully nervous of the idiots that follow both clubs kicking off again.

So potentially hull kr could sell out their allocation and the rest of the ground could be half empty and they can’t get tickets?

Wtaf. I’m sure common sense would prevail. Especially as both clubs share revenue it’s in both clubs interest to get as many on there as possible

Yep, happens most derby games at mkm. We just sold out our allocation for Easter derby match in 50mins and there could be 5k empty seats in rest of stadium.
I can’t see why for the cc both end stands couldn’t be assigned to hkr and the other 17,500 seats on each side assigned to hfc fans.

Why the heck have they only allocated 3700 to KR fans?

The stadium holds about 20,000!

They will probably get 30% thats the CC rules.

Only issue is where to put them after the bottle throwing incidents from a few years back.

So imagine safety may come into play and the Police will have some say.

Lastly, the smc over the years have made certain that no rugby game can be a total sellout.

Working with the police and council to reduce capacity.

Interestingly, the record attendance at the ground is held by Hull City, the same people who run the smc.

Have any of you FC/KR fans who frequent this forum been to a Hull derby?

Only asking, cos assume, maybe wrongly that you all live in OZ.

I’m neither but I’ve been to one at the kc

Kr were hopeless back then and needed to win to not get relegated and they did

Their fans were taking off their shirts singing all through the second half

One of my best experiences attending rugby league games and highly recommend

Logical thing would be for hkr to be allocated both end stands and hfc both side stands.
