Championship 2017

They have to finish third or better. A one off game in the MPG could be disastrous, especially given the refs have f**ked them over regularly over the years. That means they need to beat the likes of Widnes and Leigh and not slip up against London, Fev or Fax. Their game against Hull KR is in Hull and they could easily drop it.

The bottom sides are supposed to play each other once more and the bottom two go down. Bradford will be one. They could have been near the top of league one fighting for promotion but the rfl "saved" them.

Hull KR obviously tanked but Halifax have been playing great recently. Toulouse have nobody to blame other than themselves for their plight, given they lost to minnows throughout the year, and lost to Halifax a month ago.

This middle 8's is the most open it's ever been for mine. Widnes playing like gash, London looking possessed, Halifax full of momentum, Catalans prone to a wobble, Hull KR desperate for the raise, Leigh desperate to not be dropped, and Warrington thinking it's their year.

Warrington will win it in a canter. I'd expect KR to go 2nd in front of Leigh and Catalans, leaving a Widnes/London million pound game.

I'm half expecting the RFL to announce that no teams will be relegated from the championship and 2 promoted from league one..."too even out" the 2 divisions..14 teams in each league

Wouldn't be entirely surprising, or even a bad move, if it wasn't for the Bradford situation making it seem dodgy.

If they were smart they'd leave it as is for 2018 and announce it for 2019..

Hahaha oops, my bad. Catalans/London then, Widnes look shot. Then again 2 years ago Wakefield survived so who knows.

14-teams each in SL/Championship which would enable more 'expansion' into League One

Catalans have London, Leigh, Fev and Widnes at home. Wire, Fax and Rovers away. Not bad. I reckon they'd swap the Fev and Rovers games if they could.
