Both Thorman and Witt had good games and thier attack together was impressive.

However, i think we need to be careful about reading too much into PL form as it is a big step up into the top grade.

The Souths defence in PL yesterday was very slow and pretty soft so it is not surprising they both looked good.

Interesting to see Witt in the #6 which indicates Smith is grooming him to be outside Dykes in NRL.

Witt was also pretty solid in defence as he had forwards running at him all day and he played pretty well/

I am very surprised at the amount of game time that Armit is getting. If he is only going to get 15-20 mins per game then we are much better by having Peek or Stapleton in the starting team and either Moi Moi or Kaufusi coming off the bench. Armit is not a strike forward, so if he is only playing the amount of time he is playing it seems like a strange selection each week.

I think Armit will get more time the more he plays.

Remember, he missed most of last season with injury, and was also injured this year. Also, given he is only a cub, I think Smith wants to bring him along slowly.

I certainly wouldnt play Kafusi, he gave us nothing in reggies yesterday. Fui went well, but I think he still has a fair way to go yet.

No changes unless forced!!!

I watched Manly play against the dogs on Sunday and the only attacking weapon they have is the blind side cut out pass from Randall.

If our wingers play man on man and not slide defence we will be fine!!

I dont think there should be much changes, however here's my team:

1. Burt
2. Petersen
3. O'Dwyer
4. Vaeliki
5. Grothe
6. Witt/Dykes
7. Dykes/Witt
8. Armit
9. Morris
10. Vella
11. Hindmarsh
12. Cayless [c]
13. Wagon

14. Widders
15. Stapleton
16. Muspratt
17. Kaufusi

It doesnt really matter if you put Dykes at half and Witt at five eighth, or visa versa, they can both switch around. Although i consider Dykes more of a five eighth than Witt.

Armit needs more game time, he's a second rower playing prop and doesnt seem to get used enough. I dont know why, he's a good player.

If you're looking for impact players than look no further than Mal Kaufusi, he's killing them in PL I reckon I'll give him in first grade. Moi Moi doesnt play enough game time.

Finally does anyone know when Hopkins and Muckert are due to return.

Smith said last week that Muckert & Graham were due to return in Premier League against Manly and Hopkins should also be back in the next week or two.

Muckert's good enough for first grade, but fair call to start him in PL. He'll do well.
