I just hope the win last night does not prevent the necessary changes from occurring. Let's be honest, we were a bee's dick from losing that match despite receiving the run of the green with the officiating and facing a QLD team that couldn't give a shit.
First and foremost, Daley needs to go, the attacking structure all series has been deplorable and that comes down to coaching. Secondly, Gallen, Farah and Bird to never play again. Gallen has thankfully retired and Bird has already been dropped but Farah has to go as well.
Also, pick players in their actual positions, Dugan to FB or not picked, Ferguson to centre (don't get me started on the fact he is on the wing this year for the roosters) or not picked, Maloney to 5/8 (that's what he does) and FFS pick an actual HB. I have been critical of Reynolds this year but at least he is a HB, so him, Pearce, Sezar, whatever, just a first grade HB would be nice.
I know that leaves the likes of Moylan and possibly Tedesco (if Hayne returns) on the outside looking in but bad luck. Pick the best players in each position. I know we can point to the fact that QLD have played players out of position, specifically Inglis to accommodate Slater/Boyd and when we have proven performers of that standard I am all for position reshuffling, until then just pick players in the position they play.
