moltzen needs to be playing halfback, lui was nothing more then a passenger. he should be on the bench, actually im thinking drop him until next yr

who to replace the one and only tuiaki? :x

collis to centre and lawrence to fullback perhaps

hopefully no more injuries, i know all the players who had niggling ones like galloway, skando, payne battled thru just to play 2nite so hopefully they can still back it up next week

I`m a Robert Lui fan, but I don`t think he`s quite ready to get us to the finals. We need Motzen back at halfback, we need a good attacking fullback with plenty of pace, i`d go for Rhys Hanbury or consider Rhys Pritchard as a smokey and we need to replace the Tank with another tank, Josh Davis is the only player we have that can even compare with Tuiaki. Laurie has to be in the 17 as we need his X factor !

Laurie showed his nature in the Magpies semis last year. He's a skirt and shouldn't be anywhere near a finals football team.

Moltzen shouldn't be at full back if all he is going to do is call Tuiaki inside and dump the ball to him. Run the ball yourself you coward. Lui might be a great prospect but right now we need better than what he is offering us

Have Morris replace a back rower. He can defend at Hooker and have Farah defending out near lock somewhere, Heighington defending in a bit closer.

Farah at hooker and Morris at Lock in attack. Moves our forward play a bit wider and gets us away from the front row battles which we are renowned for losing.

Galea, Laurie and Skandalis can rotate with the front rowers. I'd be inclined to have Galea running and defending wider of the ruck though if possible.

I think Moltzen should stay at fullback, he's played more games there than anyone else in the side at present, besides, I think he'll be quite good if we have a great kicking game, which is what Lewis would provide.

Lewis kicking would also take pressure off Farah and Marshall.

I'm relucatant about selecting Beau Ryan. His fumble early last night which could have been a try is something which appears forgotten, but it could have actually been a death knell for the eels very early on.

Great effort last night. However...agree with a few of you guys....

* Moltzen was dissapointing at fullback. Positionally was a little out. He needs to stop passing to his wingers from kick returns instead of having a crack himself and just gain some metres. He sometimes passes to them when they are in worse position than him.

* Whether he is under instructions or overawed, Robert Lui does not take control of the game like I know he can. It's a pretty big step up from u 20's to a packed stadium. Just needs to be more hungry for the pill.

* I wouldn't move Lawrence out of the centres.

* I agree with Vicious with Pritchard and Davis need to get a look. I wouldn't bring in Collis.

1. Handbury
2. Pritchard
3. Ayshford (can u get an extra yard of pace somewhere ...borrow some off Lawrence)

Less Gibbs. More Daine Laurie. More Skando.

In fact who else can come out of retirement to lessen Gibbs game time.

HEAVY INJURY TOLL FOR WESTS TIGERS

Saturday, August 22, 2009
Wests Tigers has suffered a heavy injury toll in the 26-18 loss to the Parramatta Eels on Friday night.
Winger Taniela Tuiaki underwent x-rays this morning.
“Taniela has a broken fibula and an unstable ankle that requires surgery,’’ said Wests Tigers Club Doctor Donald Kuah.
“He will miss the rest of the season as well as the Four Nations tournament.’’
Wests Tigers Football Manager Alan Mair said second-rower Chris Heighington has suffered a posterior cruciate ligament knee injury.
“It is more than likely to be bone bruising but he will have a precautionary MRI scan on Monday. He is in doubt for the Titans game next Saturday,’’ said Mair.
“Winger Beau Ryan has a knee strain and is also in doubt for the Titans match. We will know more after scans on Monday.
“Full-back Tim Moltzen has a possible undersurface fracture of the collarbone and will also have scans on Monday."

NOT GOOD PEOPLE
