Ben Hunt's kicking has improved - bombs generally now into a contested area whereas last few years he was kicking to long.
Kyle Flannagan has a similar game to Hunt but far less effective. Early call - but he doesn't appear to offer much.
Sloan same old same old - will not last!
Agree his kicking has been precise but his passing not as sharp. Three poor passes to end sets. Flanagan has been solid for mine. We have definitely favoured our right edge attack so Flanno jr deferring to Hunt at the moment.

My take from the hill.
We have had many chances.
Should be well in the lead.
But lack of points and majority of the ball in attacking areas.
Sloan well. For me he makes too many errors snd wrong decisions.
Hunts passing has been off.
There has need plenty of room behind the Souths defence to put kicks through.
Opportunities missed at least for a repeat set.
Flano tried one too short and Hunt's bomb also.
Interesting to see who comes our this half.

We are pretty much full strength and they are not actually Souths but even so really enjoyed that half. Look a lot more energetic and confident on the whole. Feels different. So far so good.
Yes, South’s not playing Walker, Cook, Wrighton or Mitchell. This is our best side other than Seles. Still we showed everything I think Flanno wanted to see; fitness, intent and aggression. Attack will come I hope as combinations firm up.
