Charity Shield coverage in UK

Not sure if this is in the right sub-forum but I'm a Souths supporter who'll be in the UK this weekend and was wondering if there's any live TV coverage of the Charity Shield on Saturday morning. Is it on Sky perhaps?

Souths v St George pre season game. Premier have the rights to the NRL but I don't know if they will be showing the CS game.

True but it's the only one televised live in Australia and I just thought someone in the UK may pick it up. Looks like I'll have to go online to watch it.

Its South Sydneys version of a grand final match. The only chance of silverware they can get. They rate their chances in a two horse race but never seem to get the chocolates.

Pretty much, not every game over the last 30 years but quite a lot. Especially recently since pay TV.

Only since Souths were reinstated in 2002.

Actually I seem to remember a game or two back in the fiery days were on TV. But yes, every year since Souths came back.

Nup. But has always been big for a trial. Been played 28 times I think, add a couple for when Souths were out of the comp and started around 30 years ago. Always at Souths home ground, so been at Redfern, SFS & now ANZ.
