Trumpy has thrown all the text books away when it comes to the presidency.

He doesn’t seem interested in being held accountable to the media. I think that’s a long time overdue.

The wokies here should be happy about that because every third post is blaming Murdoch and msm et al for everything. The assumption that people will do what they are told.

Biden pardoning his family was a massive lift up for Trump. All bets are off, there is no honest alternative.

It was interesting to hear Professor Wolff attribute Trumps success in large part to the Democrats and their failure to capture hearts and minds by promising more of the same crap Biden dished out. The same economic and social inertia as Obama, Bush, Clinton etc.

He said people wanted change so they moved right …for the sake of it basically.

So when the left here are arguing the democrats are the more virtuous, as the worlds leading Marxist scholar, he’d reject that.

Not that he likes Trump, but that’s how he explains his rise.

And I’m thinking, your average US citizen does feel a bit disenfranchised by the democrats and old guard republications.

Trump divides and creates us v them mentality, he’s wealthy, but not part of the establishment. People looked at their lives and thought they could be doing better.

Something I try to argue is that the realities are sometimes less important than perceptions. People feel like they are “giving it to man”, even if the man is growing stronger. Or more accurately, a sub group of the wealthy.

Some of the wealthy will do quite well under Trump, others won’t.

For you super obsesssd people, you want to hope that your fund managers aren’t asleep at the wheel. They are essentially gamblers (poorly regulated compared to banks which is a joke).

If anyone doesn't have any sympathy for Ukraine, I'd suggest you watch tonight's episode of 4 Corners.
I'm sure few of you will, but you'll all quickly learn what a barbaric race the Russians are.
Putin doesn't even care about his own. He just throws them to the slaughter.

I have been watching the Ukrainian drones attacking the russians and Koreans. It is amazing what these drones can do.
They slaughtered the Koreans in no time. Poor guys thought they where going for training.
