Stumbled across this site on another forum:

http://www.gamecafe.com.au/

It's like staticice for games, compares prices from 72 retailers that sell to Aussies, some local some O/S.

We get rorted pretty badly on game prices, so hope this can save you a few dollars.

I pretty much buy all my games from:

zavvi.com
365games.co.uk
and
dvd.co.uk

When you get new releases for under $60 delivered it's worth waiting the couple of weeks for delivery.

Aussie games prices are an absolute joke.

All of those sites price lists and a sh!tload more are compared on this site, you just look for the game you're after and it will list the prices at all 72 retailers.

I generally end up ordering from Ozgameshop in the UK.

Aussie games prices are an absolute joke.

I'm trying to convince everyone game buyer I know to skip Aussie retail and go straight for the imports, I don't know how they can they justify charging us more than double.

Hey, how is Ozgameshop I see them mentioned but haven't tried them. I usually use playasia if I need to order and TiggaPlease is right the prices are a joke. I saw Mass Effect 2 at Game brand new for $109.95 a fortnight ago, WTF??!!

I'm also fairly new to the 360 but I've heard that if I get the UK import of a game I can't get DLC, true??

You sure about that? I was in my local Game a few weeks back and ME2 was $50.

100% sure, only a few days earlier I bought it new for $30 and couldn't believe it. Maybe it was an old sticker idk but it was definitely $109.95

PS3 copy or 360? Not that the price is acceptable, but it would be a lot more understandable if it was the PS3 copy just considering it was only released this year.

Ozgameshop is actually 365games from memory. They just created a second site that shows $AU from the start. Either way they are good guys to use. But do check the prices on both sites first as they can vary. Weird but true. Have used Play-Asia but can't say I'm a fan. Plenty are though, so...

Gamecafe has been around a bit & does A job, but they do seem to miss the mark at times. I'd suggest taking the extra 2 minutes to search your own favourite places to double check correct pricing/stock numbers. But it's always an easy way to get an idea of what prices range in.

Hey guys, I'm going to start buying my PS3 games from ozgameshop.com and I was wondering if DLC vouchers I get with those games, for example a code to download additional content that you get with the game, would work on the Australian PSN store?
I've looked it up and it seems like, luckily, the UK DLC works with the Australian PSN and vice-versa.
Just wanted to know for sure though as there isn't much on the internet that I could find.

UK DLC codes work for me - we use the same PSN store as them (Europe).

The USA has a different store so if you want to buy things from there you have to create a diff user and jump through a few hoops. Only reason I know this is they had a prerelease game add on for NBA 2k10 that only the USA could access.
