Changed your tune a bit in the last 7 days haven't you? :p Le Arse are now behind the 8 ball - even if they get the desired draw between us next week, they still need both of us to f**k up again. I always thought the match next week would be a title decider, and it is shaping up as exactly that. I'd love a win, but I'd settle for a draw and maintaining a 1 point lead now that Le Arse are off our tails.

Nope. I still think we'll lose the title to United but I'm happy our boys have stepped it up. So excited for this weekend - United will sh*t it in 4-zip or something, but I can only dream.

Well I was wrong. Well done boys 2-1. I still think we'll drop points but at least we've pegged United back for now.

Congrats. You guys were all over us in the first half, and did enough in the second to thoroughly deserve the win. The Drogba decision was disgraceful, but when you play as badly as we did in the first half, you kind of give up the right to moan about such things.

It's Chelsea's title to lose now. I expect we'll get done at Eastlands, as I doubt Rooney will be back by then, and Berbatov isn't a striker's arsehole. So unless you guys drop your bundle big time, I can't see the order at the top changing too much. We can still claim we've never finished lower than 3rd since the Premier League began, but it's not really much of a consolation.

Oh, and Liverpool will roll over to prevent us winning a 19th title if it comes to that, so I think you guys are pretty much home and hosed.

Liverpool game will be an interesing one. I am sure they would rather see Chelsea win the title. However don't rule out the ultimate irony. They are still likely to be right in the mix for 4th, which is almost as desperate a situation as gunning for the title.

They won't roll over with that on the line. It would a sickener for us, however amusing to many im sure if Liverpool handed United their record breaking title. The Liverpool fans would be sick!

Kind of like that great 4-3 game vs newcastle, where we shot the spirit of the team choached by one of our greats and effectively handed the title to Manure. Great win, bad consequences.

But i'd rather just win games to be honest, need to be gunning for 4th

Felt a bit sorry for Villa, a few bad calls and a definate penalty not given.. But the better team won on the day.

Probably a Chelsea Spurs final...

Boring :)

Congrats to Chelsea on winning the double without even kicking a ball...

It's over. There's no way Chelsea will drop two games. Even if they do, Arsenal would be in the box seat with their relatively easy run home (and their propensity to score injury time winners this season).

To be honest, Chelsea have been the best team this season, and deserve to win the title.

I wish I share your confidence mate, but Chelsea are VERY capable of dropping points in more than 2 games TBH.

What a funny season it has been. This Chelsea side is not a patch on the ruthless and hard edged sides Mourinho churned out in 2005 and 2006. Yet remarkable we are in a position to secure the double! That would make it the most successful season in Chelsea football club history. Yet I consider this side meek and no match for our sides of 2005 and 2006. Just crazy

If we secure this double I would almost consider calling our manager Lucky Carlo. He joined at a nice time when all of the other big 3 were weaker then previous seasons. Although in fairness Carlo has won 5 from 5 against the Big 4, which is a brilliant ahceivement in the head to head stakes. Im not saying he has done poorly, he was done very well. However I don't think he has the team playing at the level they did in 2005 and I don't think theteam hasplayed as well as they did under Hiddink for 5 months in 2009.

It has been a very strange season with no stand out team. I fully expect Chelsea to probably lose at White Hart Lane and throw it wide open. In fact it has been that strange a season that the most maligned team, Arsenal will probably pop up and win it from no where, despite being awful against the big sides.

We seem like we will be gifted the FA Cup again. However that is virtually irrelevant. It is the Premiership or bust this season, and we must get it done from here on in. Because some of this squad is in the twilight. It would be very specialto bring it back after 4 years.

Well it was nervy (and a touch lucky) but we're four points clear. Really important game coming up against Spurs. C'mon you Blues!!!

I'm hopeful that United will drop points against City, Spurs will beat Arsenal (or at least draw), and we beat Spurs. Knowing my luck, the opposite will happen.
