Well Once agin the Business end of the season and the true Big 2 are all set for a Grand Final of sorts. Arsenal and Liverpool no where to be seen. Liverpool having conceeded by Christmas and Arsenal showing a lack of bottle for the fight. No real surprises there.
Chelsea's last chance to stay alive in the Title race. I still remember when Mourinho was sacked in September, we were 6th and then took just 1 point in two awful first up effrots under Grant. We were in 8th and I remember thinking that we were morals for 4th place and would be out of the race by Christmas.
To be just 3 points behind what is being hailed as perhaps the best Man Utd team ever is mind blowing. None of it makes sense, but it is happening right before our eyes. Grant is a stinker of a manager yet he could be on the brink of a truly bizzarre double, given how poor Chelsea have been and how tactically inept he has shown himself to be. I can't even say we have played well in closing the gap, god knows how it has got down to 3 points but our dogged refusal to give in has given us a chance of the most unlikley of title winning seasons.
Anyway Man Utd can wrap up the Title with a win and all but close the door with a draw at the Bridge tomorrow night. I see Fergie is talking it up wanting to end Chelsea's 4 year unbeaten run at home. To be honest, if they do it will be true sign of Champions and a memorable way for them to do. However I think Man Utd have the wobbles ever so slightly. I don't think they will enjoy coming to the Bridge. Chelsea will be physical and Ronaldo and Ronney have always struggled against Chelsea. They will be determined to put right some performances against Chelsea where they have been totally ineffective.
Chelsea must tweak the side with Liverpool coming up on Wednesday night. Put Essien in the middle for Lampard and play Anelka instead of Drogba. I would also go with Wayne Bridge and SWP over Ashley Cole and Malouda. I don't believe it makes us any weaker.
Annway, all sey for a cracker. Even if we don't go on to win the title, which still seems at long odds, we must not conceed it at The Bridge against United. Would be very Rude to do so!!
Cmon Lads! I have no faith in Grant but I have faith that JT can get the boys up and put UNited under EXTREME pressure going into the final 2 weeks.
