It is an Anglo-Saxon name of Old English origin, and its meaning is "gentle strength". I can see why of all the girls names he choose that one, I thank you sir for your recognition of my gentle strength in adding something worthwhile into the mundanity of these threads despite the constant stupidity of others lol.

It’s a name of colonial origin that means man who has rags

Well done you managed to get sexism, homophobia and AFL all into your little rant. Players are being paid big bucks now not to act like your avg 23 year old. With the money comes the responsibility, and yeh professional athletes on a work trip in the public eye with a negative hungry media should not be going to strip clubs. Its not 1987

Go find your “safe space”, Mildred.

You can understand Hastings frustrations, you would think he would have been given first crack at #6 considering his been at the club in first grade longer then Croker.

Should Hastings just get the hell out of this mess? Newcastle might be a good landing spot, he has filled in for pierce pretty damn well in the past

TBH he looked as though he'd be a star when he first burst onto the scene, he was the fall guy for that shocking season the Roosters had.

Actually Pearce too, and not without cause. That's why the moment they had the chance to replace him with someone better, they jumped at it.

The truth of the matter was that RTS, Jennings and Maloney were all shown the door, and combined with Pearce getting rubbed out for the first third of the season, the Roosters were basically farked.

Add in we didn't have JWH for much of that season as he was recovering rom an ACL Injury suffered late in 2015, plus Cordner rupturing his pectoral muscle in the 2016 pre-season saw him out for much of the year.

Neither of those 2 were shown the door, both were offered contracts.

what more sanction can cherry get other than keep getting picked for manly. ouch

It says it all about him that I don't wish DCE on Manly. Sort of like when you say you wouldn't wish something on your worst enemy. that's what it's like. He's that much of a merkin.

Manly's current problems go beyond Barrett, DCE and Hastings. As a team we are not playing with the attitude required to win football games. Or even to be competitive in football games. Their headspace and mindset is not there right now for whatever reason. The salary cap situation and the injuries are just excuses that teams with a winning environmental culture can overcome if they work together, helping each other out as a team. Being happy for each other and celebrating together with the right attitude and effort. That's a big if right now for Manly.

Manly look like they are gonna break Barrett. Shame because he's actually a decent coach

lol seriously.....He's a terrible coach, players are undisciplined on/ off the field,,, Picks players out of positions and his recruitment has been terrible...

You have to be likeable to be captain coach. I don't imagine the Manly Giraffe Necks will have too many people queueing up to play for them, on minimum wage beside their 'star player' who wants them all to play well and give him the ball so he can play Origin.

Manly should do a deal with Taronga Zoo: 'Come see our apes on the hill and our giraffe on the field!'

Hmmm yes I can see the similarities here...
