Anyone with half a brain can see the Sharks need a complete overhaul from top to bottom and with that in mind, Saturdays result was exactly what was needed. I'd much prefer us playing like maggots and changes be made then us play average, win a couple of nothing games at the end of the season and everything gets forgotten.
Good to see so many people getting off on the Sharks downfall this year.
I'll dead set end it when I start to get that excited about other teams failures, is there nothing more interesting in your lives?
Looking at some of the locations of the posters......maybe there isn't anything else interesting in your lives

Wow. I know i got enjoyed watching them fail to win a game they led by so much with only 17mins to go. We gifted you guys so many tries. Then earned so many of our own in no time.

When 20 points with 17mins remaining isn't enough of a lead. Your team is sh*t.

We didnt gift you any tries?
Did you not see us drop the ball on our own twice in a row in the final 6 minutes , as well as loose the scrum?

Without Johns 18yrs, more then 1 wooden spoon, 0 premierships. How things could have turned out if one great man didn't play for Newcastle...:-k

They'd be known as the Mariners and playing out of Topper Stadium.

Your a cat.
The loss had nothing to do with Covell, who spearheaded the Sharks to score 28 unanswered points. Im not really sure what happened after that, but it was far from Luke Covells fault.

The Sharks wont win the comp this year, but 2007 is definetly looking bright.

Nice of you to take the bait BBSF

2007 is looking bright alright - 41 years of sharks failure!

Do what the Wests Tigers did and get rid of covell. They won themselves a premiership the following year. Maybe that's your only chance.

Covell along with Marshall laid the foundations for what happened in 2005. But given the salary cap, they couldnt both be kept, and one of them had to be shown the door. That man was Covell, and looking back at it, the Tigers probably made the right decision.

I know the Wests Tigers club, players and supporters still thank Covell for what he brought to the club, and the structure he installed for the events that followed in 2005.

Yeah, Benji laid the foundation by spending most of the season on the sideline and Bumper laid the foundation by spending most of the season in Premier League.

Taking the piss or not, that's geniused.

Yes the Tigers fans are thankful for covell taking his mediocre arse over to a medicre club that is cronulla. Look what happens - Tigers win a premiership!

Covell = Cronulla = BBSF. Failures attract

Who's bitter?

You said something that, even for you, was geniusation factor 9, and a couple of supporters corrected your spacticity.

You must be used to it by now, surely?

I'd take Danny Galea before I'd take Bumper back, any day.

I'd take Troy Wozniak back before I'd take Bumper back, any day.

I'd take Herpes before I'd take Bumper back, any day.

I'd take a kick in the cods by someone wearing Doc Martens with nails embedded in the toe before I'd take Bumper back, any day.

Wozniak was a great player. Who can ever forget Round 5 of season 2002, when the Wests Tigers ventured to Shark Park. The Sharks sprung out to a 16-0 lead early in the first half, before Troy turned it on scoring three amazing tries, to send the Tigers fans into a frenzy, and sending the Tigers into halftime, only trailing by 2.

Interesting to note Luke Covell is third in the top pointscorers list for 2006. Only second to the greats Hasem El Masri, and Andrew Johns. Its fair to say, all 3 are in good company up there.

Danny Galea is a really good player. He's not a centre though... and Tigers are using him where he belongs. His defence is extremely solid and he runs it hard. A good signing for a team playing him off the bench or using him in the forwards.

He was the best 1 on 1 defender at one point during the year... having to defend for Campbell, Hookey and himself. Not sure how he compares now... but he would be an asset to the Tigers... especially off the bench.

Yeah, I would.

And you can add every player we had in 1998 and 1999 to that list. I'd even have nuffies like Travis Baker and Lincoln Raudonikis back before I'd have Bumper back.

I'd even take Jarrad Anderson before Bumper.

Luckily, we'll never be in the desperate position of wanting/needing either.

But still losing the match....
