That game was an utter shit fest.

f**k you Bears fans for pimping that dross

Bears down 21-22 with 9 minutes to go, kicks the field goal from 30 out 20 in, only for Manly to score in the dying minutes.

Yeah what a f**king borefest. Talk about hard to please.

And yes I think that was Greg Martin with the microphone.

Just wondering who actually owns the footage of all these games? Do the NRL own it or do the TV networks who produced the broadcast still own them?

I remember when they first did Chooseday Night football during the off season in 2009 and most of the games were post NRL 1998, I know Fox Sports were allowed to show those games as since the start of the NRL theyve always been allowed to replay matches regardless of the network.

Then I think there was an agreement that any Ch 9 games pre NRL days can be shown on Fox sports, but not sure about the ABC and Ch 10 games around the 80s and early 90s.

Maybe the NRL bought the rights to own those matches and allowed Fox sports to show them.

Regardless its great to see some old classics.

Such a shame I missed watching this game as I'm pretty sure I was at the Knights/Warriors match that day, which was far from a close game:lol:The 1992 Rabbitohs/Sea Eagles match was a great one. Eion Crossan kicked the winning goal from the sideline, right?

Yeah I was at that game too. 48-6 if I remember correctly.

I think I might still have a VHS tape of that game somewhere

Yeah great game, as mentioned earlier it was shown earlier this year and I think Souths were down 20-10 with 10 minutes to go and Manoa Thompson scored the try to level it, with Crossan kicking the goal to win it.
