Has been happening since Adam play halfback for the Israelites 13.
The players play harder than ever before to show the league world 'see, it was him, not us'.

Also, one of the consistents in this years inconsistent comp has been if a team gets touched up one week they win the next.

This was going to be a crunch game for us anyway - if we don't win this our season is pretty much over. Roosters were going to be fired up after last weeks hammering and probably be even more so after Anderson quit so it will be a true test of where we stand - hopefully up.

He dismantled the club, and caused turmoil, drama and division at every turn. He decided to wreck a competitive squad and forced fans to endure watching great players like Tweddle, Milford and Jarrad Anderson getting hammered each week. While McKenna Campbell, Rogers, Triester, Best, Dykes left.


The Sharks were right to give him the sack. I wonder what that goose Paul Kent thinks of this?

Well I think Politis gave him no alternative. I would say he has done all right financially and walked away cashed up because Politis is an impatient man but would have been desperate to avoid more embarrassment like the debacle resulting in not securing Wayne Bennett and having to sign Anderson at the last minute. Politis would still be agonising at that dent in his reputation as the hard nosed successful businessman.
