I'll say I'm not overly confident about this. Yeah sure he won 2 premierships however he has been out of the game for 5 years. How much has the game changed since then. His 5 years prior to that wasn't too crash hot either.

No, I think he makes an obvious point.
There'll always be internet trolls who carry on like that, but I think they're in a very small minority.
So, I take it you don't see the way you and your mate have mutually carried on here this year as fitting within that category at all...? :-k

Ok so Chris Anderson has not actively coached for a little under 5 years. Why does that matter when he has taken on a role as a 'Coaching Director'?
Gus Gould hasn't coached in the NRL since 99 and Origin since 2004, so why are some carrying on like Chris is some sort of Dinosaur? No one bat an eyelid at Gus helping out Penrith as a coaching Director?
It's only five years for crying out loud yet some on here who have NEVER coached are making out like they know more about the game than he does.

Gus is not a coaching director up there. He is director of football operations

Ivan Cleary said on the game plan last night that Gould has nothing to do with the training or selection of the team. If Anderson is coming in for the same role then why get him as coaching help is exactly what we need

I see where they're coming from.
Can't you blokes see the similarities to the 1999 side Anderson coached?
Sandow is a diminutive nuggety halfback like Noddy
HIndmarsh is like the Brick with Eyes.

Paul Kent reckons that Kearney is near the end of his tether and implied he may quit soon. Said it on the Footy Show this week.

And??? Kent's Man crush for Stuart is there for all to see. It really is quite sickening, he's just another News limited hack. He deciphers all Stickys articles for him and readily admits they are great mates. Anderson was not my first choice but anyone will do ahead of Sticky.
