I'd keep him in the Wigan side when Radlinski comes back from injury, he is mainly a centre but his early season form has been fantastic at fullback so he has to keep his place in either spot. Against Catalans he was outstanding and he has just scored another superb try against Leeds.

If that form keeps up though Ashton can't be first dropped.

But Leeds sure turned it on to come home in the second half...

If Wigan put Radlinski back at full back on his return, it shows why that club is currently bottom of Super League.

Ashton has played so well that Radlinski should be escorted out of the club, never to return. Were it the NRL, the senior would be released/retire and the young gun would keep his spot and go on to become another star.

As it is, I can see Ashton joining the enormous list of Wigan youth players who are released despite being better players than those that keep their place in the side.

Radlinski is overrated and perrenially injured. He is hangin on reputation from about 6 years ago.

wigans strength this year will be in its juniors, andthey have to play to their strengths.

Ashton was superb against Les Catalans, so Radlinski could shift to centre, putting one of the 3/4s on the bench - perhaps Vaealiki?

Talking of Vaealiki, Wigan fans must be very frustrated because for me he has shown nothing in his 18 months at the club, a major disappointment on big money.

On more money than Jamie Lyon if you believe the rumours.

I can't see Wigan putting up with him for long, unless there is a massive improvement.
