the good hard props are dwindling and being signed up or re-signed to their own clubs..

we've got 4 props in skando, gibbs, payten and laffranchi.. which one of those sparks any fear in the opposition?
where's the mongrel from gibbs that saw him break cleals jaw? he might come good next year.. but what if we loose any of those players to injury.. we've got nothing and we'll have a one man forward pack with a few others chucked in to make up the numbers..

But seriously why not?

I know I usually advise steering clear of damaged goods, but this one might be worth the effort. Go down to the Bay and make nice, give the guy something to aspire to, get him wanting to repay your faith and all that bull. Have him signed on a nice contract that lets him earn a real tasty pile if he's a good boy (off the field - and a rampaging destroyer on it), but that costs you zot to dump him like a stone if he farks up. He has size, and that touch of madness all great Props possess. You don't want friggin choir boys in the engine room (you listening Skandalis?). He might just reward you for the faith shown. If not - next!
