Here is John Brady's email address DJ1 johnb@nrl.com.au I suggest you take your accusations to him, he'll pass on the information.

For what it's worth, I don't have a lot of time for Chris and am in no way defending him. However, your unfounded accusations that we are rorting the cap are boring. End of discussion.

You only get excited when it is Rooster fans throwing unfounded accusations elsewhere?

This is not an accusation but a question. As a moderator you would be expected to know the difference.

I see the fact that your club was caught blatantly cheating and lying still burns DJ1.

That is just something you dogs fans will have to live with for decades.

I also see your club still entertains both lying cheats at club functions. The nuts never fall far from the tree do they!

Chook.

Actually, would it be possible that any Rooster players are receiving rent free or subsidised accomodation provided by the club.

Would this be something that would be tracked by the salary cap auditor?

The Roosters did notify the auditors.

The Roosters passed the auditors checks.

The players who live in this accomodation pay $200 a week in rent.

mmm how many players are receiving this type of deal?

Is $200 per week a fair market value for North Bondi?

In line with his fine, would 10% of his discount accomodation deal be given to charity?

Kaz suggests that he is paying $200 per week as some sort of players deal.

If the market value in North Bondi is say $500 for example, this would be a subsidy of $300 per week or approx $15K per year.

If this subsidy is a part of his overall package then it should be included in the salary cap and a percentage of the subsidy should then be given to charity as per the 10% fine.

$15K doesn't sound like much but if there were 20 of these arrangements that adds up to $300K

Who am I saying is paying $200 per week.

The players who are living there are the younger players, not 1st grade players.

 DJ1 has probably already alerted the ATO and NRL about unaccounted fringe benefits to first grade players.

No problems Willow apologies.

Welcome to Controversy Corner.

Here you can post about any off-field controversies in your sport. The stuff that the tabloid press lap up... dramas and scandal.

Any controversial thread started in another sporting section may be transferred here.

Please note that while this is predominantly a Rugby League forum, Controversy Corner can apply to any sport and not just League.

But if you want to post here, there are a few rules and these must be strictly adhered to:

1.) Do not to post any slanderous or defamatory material that may violate any applicable laws.
2.) Do not implicate any person or persons by way of naming names; directly, remotely or cryptically.
3.) Do not post links to other websites which have defamatory material.
4.) All claims and allegations must be accompanied by a confirmed source.
5.) Do not indulge in 'over speculation' as a result of media reports.
6.) Do not post or link any material which divulges a person's private life, address or phone number(s).
7.) Failure to adhere by these rules will result in a warning.
8.) Ignoring that warning will result in immediate suspension from the forums.
9.) IMPORTANT: This is totally at the discretion of moderators and admin.
10.) All Member's Guidelines still apply.

Should you find yourself suspended, you may appeal this decision by email: forums@leagueunlimited.com

These special rules may be updated regularly.

Which rules were broken and by which posts? The only one I feel could be broken is rule 5 but that one is broken by half the members.

I don't seem to be able to edit my posts.

IMO you busted a few a of those points.
Point 9 is the killer and the one you should watch out for the most.
You'll find that we are less tolerant in this Controversy Corner forum. I had several reports from a number of different moderators which meant I had to read your 'speculations'.
IMO, that was enough to issue the warning.
And btw, don't kick the moderator can when trying make a point. I has a tenadancy to backfire.
