Cinema walkout

Have you ever walked out of a movie in the cinema before? To me, a movie must be pretty darn bad to walk out of after you have put aside some time and money for it.

I have walked out of a movie called "Knock-off" with Van Damme and Rob Schnieder. I think I only lasted 20-30 minutes. Shocking...and Im a Van Damme fan.

I was VERY tempted to walk out of "Alien V Predator" and "Doom".

I nearly walked out on the premier of Man Of Steel. Not because I thought it was a bad movie, I was just disgusted with the direction they went with Superman. The climax of the Superman vs Zod fight is what did it for me.

Nicole Kidman film.

I think it was "The hours" or something similar.

Worst film ever, but somehow won an Oscar nomination for best film or something.

Can't say that I have.

The only way I could see it happening is if a film was hyped to shit and goes completely against what it advertised itself as.

Which as a rule is why you should never buy into hype.

Only movie i walked out on is Avatar.
Took a girl to watch it and about half an hour in she turns to me and says 'we have to go right now!' When i asked her why she said 'i just spotted my boyfriend in the front row'.

As for walking out due to movie quality, i only go to the cinema for movies for the kids, or movies I've been anticipating for for ages.

Done it in a bucketload of movies. Generally if you leave in the first 45 minutes you can get a refund. Not going to waste my time in a terrible movie and certainly don't want $50+ for the privilege.

In saying that, I go to the cinemas at least once a month, usually twice a month and it's a three block walk from my apartment... So I usually will go see anything to see what it's like.

Deck the Halls. Only movie I legit walked out halfway through. Looking back, I don't even know why I went to see it....

Ring 2 I was with my mates in a nearly empty cinema, got quite bored and all started to lay down across 3 seats each. We all cracked up towards the end 'I'm not your fu***** mummy!'

I was VERY tempted to walk out of "Alien V Predator" and "Doom".

Neither of those movies were the best (self confessed Alien Franchise fanboy here too) but they both were fun movies.

AVP really got ruined when the main lead started working WITH the predator. Goes against everything else we've seen. Similarly to Jurassic World when they were working WITH the raptors. Those REALLY grate me

If I wasn't with a bunch of mates and had my own car to get home I would have walked out of Broken Arrow.... that was torturous for me...

I have seen and heard of a lot of people leaving cinemas during Alien V Predator.
Didn't love the movie but sign me up for any sci-fi film.

Technically I've only walked out of two movies (Wayne's World 2 & Gladiator) but that was because the film inexplicably stopped on each of those occasions, and we had to go to the box office to find out what was going on.

Walked back in when they were restarted, but that sort of interruption was pretty damn annoying (even though WW2 was during the era of intermission, plus I was too young to really care).

What are ya talking about, that was a classic!!!! Cheesy as hell, sure, but awesome!

This is the movie that always comes to mind whenever this question comes up. I have never walked out of a movie, but this is the one where I came closest.
I don't know why I hated it so much, it was legitimately making me angry (and I'm a pretty laidback kinda guy)!
