I rekon this bloke goes great guns. Given all the fuss about our number 6 for this year what do people think of putting him there. He has some speed, can ball play a bit, and is big enough to bust those half gaps kimmorley tries to squeeze people through. For mine he is a better option than Vagana, who really should be at centre And heaps better option than some others suggested such as Moke. Similar to Hilder in some respects, but better as a play maker... and dykes is maybe not there or maybe in PL or on the bench. So yer... thats my push. Ciraldo for 6 in 06

Ciraldo thats a good call!

I'd like us to have a great set of halves with both players attacking but we won't see that with Noddy around so I say we go a power backrower. Moke seems such a good choice as his whole game is based around power but who knows if he will handle the step up. Ciraldo is a very good call the more I think about it... Couldn't be worse then Bird!

If Dykes stays but he should be our starting 6 without question.

I still believe Dykes is the best option..IF and only if the gameplan is changed to accomodate him, rather than shun him. We shouldn't revolve the players around the gameplan, but rather, we should revolve the gameplan around the players. We failed to utilise the strengths of our team throughout this year...I think it's bloody well time that we do so.

FFS backrowers are not 5/8ths!

Neither are centres!

Dykes is our 5/8th... he should be given complete (i.e. 100%) control of the backs...

Noddy can stick with the forwards.

How do you accommodate a player whose team mates often don't appear to know what he is doing or don't seem to know what he is about to do?

You start with a coach who knows what he's doing :)

Ask Manly how they managed with Cliffy Lyons.

Rocky was a Sharks junior. We didn't seem to have any problems in that regard when he played juniors and minor grades for us, neither did Norths, neither did Manly.

Anyone who thinks Vagana is a good 5/8 is demented & delusional.
He may suit the sharks style as he offers nothing as 5/8 with skills.
He's like under 9's 5/8.
Give it to nigel, give it to nigel. Then the big kid would get it, run straight & score.

BORING!!!!!!!
