G'Day Guys,
Whilst realising you have a game this week to worry about against the unpredictable bunnies, I was wondering if you had any thoughts on who you may have backing up from the rep fixtures next week against Saints on your home turf?
From an outsiders point of view:
Lyon - Country at a minimum
Matai - NZ probable
Foran - NZ probable
Hodkinson - Being mentioned in City circles with the injuries to Wallace and Pearce
King - City probable
Perry - Country probable
Watmough - Australia
Stewart - Country minimum
Kite - Country possible?
Do you guys think this is realistic?
From a Saints perspective:
Morris - Country minimum
Scott - Country possible
Cooper - Country possible (only one of Scott or Cooper will be selected if either)
Nightingale - NZ possible (depends on Vatuvei's fitness)
Soward - Country (bench) possible
Hunt - Country bench possible
Weyman - Country minimum
Creagh - Country minimum
With this number of players potentially backing up from both sides it has the potential to dampen what has (with the excpetion of the 2008 semi) been a tightly contested game on your ground.
