Well, I loved it as a great game in and of itself, and also appreciate the reasons for it, i.e. tradition, recognizing the country areas as well as Sydney in NSW, rewarding some second-tier players with a rep jersey, give them some outside experience apart from an insulated club environment, etc.

I'm a big fan, BUT I do think they should have played it on a Wednesday night.
