Hes a strange commodity at times isn't he......Wouldn't surprise me if he ran away from a circus to join an orphanage
Well he just gets these really bad ideas into his head and follows through.
It seems to me that those clubs who could actually use him, aren’t offering him what he wants -or he would have signed with them already.
I thinks he is fair player but on the wane. And that simply means as time goes on, he won’t improve but get worse.
We all know how it goes, the decline of a marquee, starts more or less slowly, then factory games appear more often and start to overtake good games. Good games then become the rare exception.
So his new club has to consider how quickly the decline will set in.
His bad off field choices have really mangled what could have been a solid and comfortable alumni lifestyle.
I’ve been to a panther do and when the great Royce Simmons walked in, there was a slight respectful hush and whispers. Someone told me he was here. And of course he was generous and met everyone he could -even strangers like me.
And we were introduced, he smiled at me and asked how I was going. It was great. I felt ten foot tall. He’s done so much for so many people. Maybe the greatest of all panthers and property of the game as a whole.
Bunt will never have that reputation or be held in such high esteem.
He could have had it all, Fame and fortune, but he chose very short term selfish interests, snatching defeat from reputational glory.
A bit like the befuddled Albert, but at least I see a way back for him in the long run.
It must get a bit boring chugging beers over at the Finch household with Rob and Brett, listening to Brett say sorry over and over.
