Why because they play "boring football"?:roll:

Another one who can't handle the English dominance of the CL this year.

No Bumble Bee, that is not the case.

It's just Bayern is my 3rd team (behind Arsenal, Jets) and I want to see them win it (obviously) and I don't like Either Liverpool, Man Utd or Chelsh*t.

very interesting game between roma and man u this morning. 2-1 roma, very delicately poised heading to old trafford. i reckon manu will still win though.

1-1 valencia and chelsea drew at stamford bridge, i reckon valencia will go through now

How can you bring on Man Yoo when they'll be out of the competition next week?

 Roma had an extra man for an hour and still spent the whole game taking hopeful shots from long range, their only goals were from a deflection and a parry straight into a Roma player from Van der Sar and now they are off to Old Trafford with an away goal against them.. well I guess if you think that's something to be confident about then that's you're right.

Obviously you think Roma aren't capable of scoring at OT. LOL.

Let me tell you something - Roma WILL score at OT. They have failed to score in only ONE game this entire season. Obviously everyone will write them off again, though.

Roma should go through. They have to be the favourites because they go into the second leg with a 1 goal lead having outplayed Man U in every facet of the game. Anybody who thinks otherwise is wearing a Union Jack eye patch. The away goal conceeded was unfortunate but not a disaster.

Old Trafford is a nice ground but it is just a square of dirt with grass growing on it like everywhere else. Roma are a professional team and if they can play away in Serie A with opposition Ultras firing flares all over the place, some English kindergarten is nothing.

If Roma lose, then it won't have anything to do with where they are playing.

Manchester United's form in Europe has been nothing in comparison to EPL form. I fully expect Roma to go through but somehow I wouldn't be surprised if Man U net a 97th minute winner

Having an extra man for an hour might have helped with that. Man Utd were just starting to play the ball around and getting into the match when Scholesy stupidly got himself sent off. To have only won 2-1 and not really created any clear-cut chances must be a little worrying for Roma.

If Saha were fully fit and Scholes weren't suspended, I would be confident of going through. Nobody can handle the movement of Saha, Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs with Scholes and Carrick directing the traffic. But with Scholes not playing and Saha probably only coming off the bench (not to mention most of our defenders injured), I do consider Roma favourites. I predict either a 1-1 draw or a 2-1 win for Man Utd, the latter of course sending the match into extratime.

You'd have to be a Roma fan? Roma were the better team but the fact that they could only score twice with an extra man for an hour, and the goals were from a deflection and a goalkeeping error and you still think they were THAT good? And I think United's record at Old Trafford speaks for itself, say what you like but home ground advantage is huge in the CL.

Go Roma!, Knock them Around further. After surviving in the Premiership all season, Its just about time to pounce!

However President, Whilst I admire your confidence and I do think Roma will go through it is bound to be tougher at Old Trafford. Chelsea have gone 70 something games unbeaten at The Bridge in the Prem, does it make it just another pathc of grass? You have to take all things into consideration. Not least questionable refs at Old Trafford. Don't be surprised if United win a dubious penalty.

You've obviously watched Roma play once this year, and that was last Thursday. Roma probably played at about 60%. Sure they missed a few chances, but teams like Man Utd are never easy to put away, even with 10 men.

Roma will score. Depends on how many they conceed. I say 1-1.

I don't think any words I could type could say as much as the result itself, so I'll just leave it with this.

Roma were putrid. Just pathetic for a side with supposedly a great defence.

I was really surprised. They just seemed powerless and Man U were brilliant, and promptly conducted a training clinic for 75 000 people.

lol at Roma.

Bayern have a few injury problems leading into the game against munich tomorrow, including basti schweinsteiger. Lucio also in doubt, and Sagnol is out.
