Appetite for mine.

the fact that Metallica were pretty much already known and established, despite owning the Black album since its release there are still songs I skip over, not on AFD, every track is as good as the last.

Thinking of AFD takes me back to Year 8 social studies and the girl who gave me my first copy of the album, recorded on cassette from her LP.

Any of the previous 3 Metallica albums and I would have voted Metallica...my favourite 3 albums ever bar none. But I reckon Appetite For Destruction slightly pips the black album. Actually. f**k I don't know. Isn't really a bad song between them. I abstain :lol:

FMD this is harder to pick than a broken nose, two of my fav bands off all time. I'm with Adam just two hard not a bad song on either album. If i had to chose black album............ just.

exactly, had it been justice for all then it would've won. Appetite is a great album, so much fun.

What is it you're asking then? "What's your favourite album?" If so then I would have to say the Black Album, because I listened to it a lot more. But in retrospect and in the context of the bands' careers, AFD is clearly the "better" album.
