Classic article bagging Phil Gould

I just came across this article - here's a classic quote from it about Phil Gould!

He really becomes a little like the little boy that sits in class after a good lunch of baked beans and farts noisily for the entire afternoon. It’s vaguely amusing and/or interesting the first time, irritating the second, and downright worn out within the hour. In the case of Gould it seems as though the little boy seems intent on soiling his underwear to add to the bargain.

It was here:

I enjoy Phil Gould as a commentator and writer.
I severely question your judge of character and opinions on.. not only football related, but every day life issues.

you my friend are a deadset goose. I find Gould as annoying and irritating as anyone yet, there's no denying that the bloke has a great understanding of the game. In particular, the technical aspects of rugby league. You don't win premierships and state of origin's without having a supreme knowledge of rugby league. Gould is payed to provide that in his commentary and at times he does. I'd just wish he would do more of it instead promoting his own agendas and views on how the game should be.

Well, I couldn't be bothered trolling through the site to find the article. Was your post a weak attempt at spamming?

If the author wishes to slander people in that way, I guess he/she can happily prepare to explain themselves incourt.

I am a Gus fan, but there is enough ammo for Gus haters to use without publishnig such crap.

I presume that the author is responding to Gus' support for Joey in the UK, and maybe believes that Joey IS cheapening the test jumper. Ironic that such articles cheapen the occopation if Journalism.

It makes Rebecca Wilson seem credible.

Strange that someone can express such a strong opinion on an article they obviously haven't read.

Not spamming, just sharing an amusing turn of phrase that I discovered for those that don't think Phil put the air in footballs.

Yep I agree, Warren Ryan needs to get his mug on TV, he's excellent.

And bring David Morrow, we need a Saints fan on free to air telly.

The thing the pisses me off with Thirsty, is when they calling Dragons matches, if the Dragons make a break, Thirsty yells that loud and talks that fast, I can’t make out what he is saying.

I'm expressing a strong opinion on what you posted. If the article portrays Gus in a different light, please divulge.
