Mail is that now-friendless CA will exit within the week, regardless of the financial impact on the Sharks. Club may need to "muddle through" without the financial wherewithal to finance the going rate for an NRL coach.

Extremely doubtful. I was told by 2 board members yesterday he will NOT be sacked. If he walks he gets nothing so the only way this can come true is if he is sacked - and that's not happening.

The club is not going to shoot itself in the foot. The potential payout is scary and there'd be no muddling through - closer to death of the club.
