I know I'm going to upset a few posters here, so I apologize :sarcasm::sarcasm:

Assuming the decision was up to you, and you could hire any coach you wanted, without money being an issue, who would you hire?????

The only prerequisite is that the coach hasn't got a first grade gig elsewhere.

I'd throw the bank at Gus, if that fails then Steve folkes.

The sacking of Daniel Anderson will be looked upon as the worst decision in our clubs NRL history.

Anderson was a disciplinarian. Took no shit from the players, even Hayne.

ATM it looks like the in mates are running the asylum.

tonight was terrible and yep there need to be some changes to our style of play. But the coach does not miss tackles or drop the ball. As Matty Johns has said, sometimes non performing footy players should be treated like sh&t race horses.

But he did hurt Jarryds feelings that was certainly uncalled for.:sarcasm:

Id go for Jason Taylor. After all he got us from struggling to an unlikely finals berth in half a season and obviously it was all decided for the following year before he got an opportunity. I think he at least deserves that opportunity that we never really gave him.

Rick Stone maybe?

Frankly the best coaching stocks have been taken. You're better off extending Kearney's contract but put in some performance based clauses. The guy looked absolutely shot for confidence last week, he'll be even worse this week. Maybe his career not hanging over his head will help him'. Patience tends to pay off, look at the Cowboys now with Neil Henry. Terrible two years when Henry started, but now they've come good.

But in the end, I think Kearney is too much of a nice guy. Good assistant coach, doesn't make the real thing though

Avoid JT. He's the kind of coach players laugh about behind his back

I'd be tempted to give Ricky Stuart a chance, keep Nolan (if he wants to stay) and let Stuart have complete control of choosing the coaching/training staff. SK has lost all confidence, therefore the players have lost confidence in him, there is no way out of this rutt for Parra and SK.

Isnt Tony Smith looking for an NRL gig? Just another option. I am a Kearney fan, but with performances like that ive lost confidence.
