Galvin v the Tigers

I highly doubt Issaac Moses would have let the dogs play Galvin in NSW cup for the rest of 2025.
I do think its bit early to call it being a failure, but if it does end up being one, how long before gould comes out and says "i told you so" and punts him

Gus will come out and blame the media for putting too much pressure on "the kid". Completely ignoring the fact he orchestrated it through said media and blew more smoke than Snoop Dogg.

Galvin ain't shit. Matty struggled to come up with highlights for that lil montage they made for him a few weeks back. He had to mention a play where he threw a forward pass as a highlight.

Stop showing off son.

Surely even Gus, with his ability to live a million miles from truth and honesty, couldn't go that far.

The same Gus who accused the Roosters of buying shiny things (he said it about DCE) just because they are available, then went out and bought Galvin when he had an Origin 6 and a team on top of the table. Now, a couple of weeks later, Galvin isn't even in the team.

Of course, Gus believes he'll be seen as the genius again when Mitch Woods and Galvin are carving up in the halves in 2027. We'll see.

I don't think I'm the only one who thinks Galvin might not be the best teenager I've seen, but more like the most overrated and overpaid one I've seen. Even more so than Karl Filiga.

Forgot about Karlos.

What about this guy:

Never played an NRL game.

For some reason I love seeing Galvin fail. I had no issue with him wanting out of Tigers. But just walking into the #7 of the competition leaders without really earning it and forcing Sexton out I kind of want to see it blow up in their face.

9-2 before Galvin. 4-3 since
Obviously lot's of moving parts, but on the surface it doesn't look good.

It's almost irresponsible of the Bulldogs to run him out for the Tigers game yesterday. I know it probably wasn't Ciraldo's call - but sometimes you need to protect the young kids from themselves. And his presence on the field was like a red flag to a bull.

Tough run home for them too: Warriors, Roosters, Storm, Panthers and Sharks.
They're in semi-finals mode now. I wonder how many losses they'll accept before bringing Sexton back?

Guess it depends how honest they're prepared to be as a club. IMO the Sea Eagles game is the only one I feel the club has looked better with Galvin out there versus how they were performing previously. They were arguably lucky to win the Dragons game, whilst for the Eels & Souths, Sexton did a lot of the work to setup the wins.

If the Bulldogs lose the next two, I don't know how they don't go back to what previously worked.

How shit was Galvin against the Tigers. Literally did nothing.

Wouldnt say that, hes ineffective tackle on Luai which lead to a penalty and our first try was pretty good.

Then his knock on after the Crichton break which potentially gets them back into the game

Followed by his complete non attempted tackle on Samuela for the match sealer, I'd say he did plenty.
