Whilst im a big supporter of Raper is it time to look at some of his coaching methods ? The following points have been noticed and I ask everyone for their comments on the following points:
1. Fitness: We seem to lack fitness, whilst we have been in most games up until half time last weekend was another example of us running out of steam. Is that a lack of mental and physical fitness
2. Consistency: Rapers consistency with positions, he seems to move players here there and everywhere before they get a chance to settle into a position
3. Motivation: The team never really looks fired up, with the exception of the Brisbane game and what a great win that was
4. Key Players involvement: Should Raper be getting players like Peach, Sullivan and Nigel more involved ?
These are just my thoughts............What are yours ???

Fitness: I dont think fitness is a problem for us anymore. We are half way into the season everyone is match hardened. Against the Broncos we were going much better than them in the fitness stakes.

Consistency: Changes have been forced onto Raper lately. Before that he was sending out the same team each week. It is not an issue in my eyes.

Motivation: Raper has passion for the sharks and the job everyone can see that. The boys sometimes do seem a bit flat. Might be an issue but you would have to be around the team more to know IMO.

Key player involvement: All our key players bar Vagana have been involoved consistenly when they have played. Sure Raper has to probably address the Vagana situation but there is only so much he can do. Its ultimately up to Vagana to go looking for the ball.

I dont think he is doing too bad. We were looking really good till a few weeks ago and the guys and Raper really seemed to believe in themselves and the direction they were heading. It just got derailed by a few injuries to key personnel.

For a bloke thats off shore and thousands of miles away you seem pretty much up to date with our mighty sharks Military. Do you get a replay of our game over there every week and a report from the club on every game?

I still see this season as a rebuilding year after the CA destruction. In that regard I am fairly happy with progress so far bar a few disappointments eg last weeks capitulation to penrith AND Vagana!!! he is getting his money under false pretences. He is showing absolutely no enthusiasm and I cannot understand why. Raper must have a plan for him - but how long will it take - I think a spell in premier league might just wake him up.

When was the last time you saw him put himself into a position to recieve a pass. I have been one to say give him time to settle in but last sunday was too much. He did every thing possible to get away from the action. He is not trailing any of our runners or making any real effort to get involved in the game.

Replay of the game ? Yes
Report from the Club ? No, which I am happy with as I like to make up my own mind on the performance of the Team. You should try that instead of believe all the information they want you to read.............. #-o
