SAN Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick has released the first public image of Jarryd Hayne training with 49ers teammates.
Kaepernick released this image on his personal Instagram and Twitter accounts, depicting Hayne after a pre-season drill with himself, Niners running back Alfonso Smith and a number of other NFL players at the EXOS training facility in Arizona.

Hayne has wasted little time getting down to business in the US. The former Parramatta Eels superstar only departed Sydney on Monday and has been battling the after effects of the long haul flight.
Kaepernick is regarded as one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL and signed a $US126 million extension with the 49ers after leading them to consecutive NFC championship games.
David Fucillo, writing for the Niners Nation website, was intrigued by the prospect of Hayne training with Kaepernick, but believed the Australian may have derived more playing insight from other players at the Arizona training camp.
The picture includes (Seattle) wide receiver/returner Ricardo Lockette and running back Alfonso Smith, Fucillo wrote. I dont expect either to be able to teach Hayne all the nuances of the positions, but they both have experience that could be valuable for Hayne.
That raises the question of whether Hayne should wait to learn more running back skills from Tom Rathman, or if it is worth talking with Smith and Lockette. Neither has emerged as a big player in the league, but they each have actual football experience.
