lol no :lol:Mariota is such a myth. Hes no where near Winstons level.
I'm not sure about his mechanics.... But for mine he ticks the biggest box of them all for a QB coming out of college... He works through his progressions... He doesn't bail when his first option is covered.Winston will need to tune up his action. He isn't compact as he needs to be. Takes too long to get the ball out. He's not as bad as Tebow was with his arm going down but he brings it down a little bit. Needs to be more compact.
lol no
He was great again today despite missing 4 out of the 5 starters on the ducks o-line & is still the Heisman front-runner
I wouldn't say he was great today. Utah really let Oregon off the hook today.
I question his decision making in pressure situations, although his legs do get him out of a lot of trouble. The Ducks system makes him look better than he really is imo.
Oregon and Mariota will get exposed in the Play offs.
Well have to wait and see who the better pro is but I'd know who I'd have money on.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...tah-rash-of-injuries?campaign=Twitter_nfl_cfbMarcus Mariota and Oregon clinched the Pac-12 North and a spot in the conference title game with a 51-27 win over Utah, but the game proved quite costly to just about everything but the quarterback's Heisman Trophy hopes.
Already down key players this season, the Ducks suffered a rash of injuries against the Utes. Star cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, one of the top DB prospects in college football, left the game in the second quarter with a leg injury and was seen with a walking boot on his left foot later on. All-American center Hroniss Grasu became the fourth Ducks starting offensive lineman to suffer a major injury this season and was helped off the field in the fourth quarter. Tight end Pharaoh Brown left in a cart in the fourth quarter after hurting his leg.
Luckily for Oregon, it still had Mariota dazzling with the ball in his hand no matter what was thrown at him.
Mariota did little to alter his status as the Heisman front-runner, finishing with three touchdowns through the air on 239 yards to go with his career-high 18 carries for a game-high 114 yards rushing and another score. Despite bad snaps, tons of pressure and several drops, Mariota was just about the only reason the Ducks left Salt Lake City with a win, as he was able to elude defenders with ease while throwing some impressive passes that no doubt caught the eye of the NFL scouts in attendance.
Absolutely killing it. Nebraska's not an elite team but they're not that far off and he's making them look like kids.Melvin Gordon up to 400 yards rushing for the day.
Several of the top backs coming out have fumble issues. Gordan, Yeldon and Abdullah all seem to have issues holding on to the ball.He looks like a Charles Clone, just has to work on his fumbles.
Yet I can see them doing it...they limped home barely. Hard to see how the Seminoles beat Bama or Oregon imo
