Will Grear suspended for a year by the NCAA for testing positive to a banned substance. Apparently he took an over the counter supplement.

There goes Floridas bubble unless that Defense can save them. Chances are he will miss the first 4 SEC games next season as well so if one of those is At Tennessee or Mizou they're potentially done for 2 years.

Michigan has an Aussie punter and he just cost his team a shot at the playoffs. Fumbled the snap (low admittedly) and punted as he was being tackled, the ball went 2 metres right into Michigan State who rumbled for the go ahead TD with no time left.

So many RB's look like stars in college footy because of the refusal of defensive backs to actually tackle. Have a go at a shoulder charge/knock down, push a player out or arm tackle attempts. No wonder RB's turn up to the NFL, try the same moves and get smashed. Defensive coaching could include a lot more 1-on-1 tackle drills in college footy. If they did, they might stop turning out so many QB's who have unrealistic running expectations in the NFL as well. So many college QB's get away with running for downs because of poor tackles and not some masterful elusive running skills.

I can't wait to see how he does against Bama. They contained A&M to 36 Rushing yards after they were averaging 160+ coming into the game. He's a completely different beast though but their defence is scarily good.

Any playoff predictions?

These teams control their own fate IMO:
Clemson - can still lose ACC championship game which may knock them out but I don't think they will
Alabama/Florida - Winner of SEC championship game should be in
Ohio State - Still has Michigan State/Michigan and probably Iowa in Big 10 championship game
Iowa - Win out and in
Oklahoma State - Win out and in

Do not control own fate:
Notre Dame - Beat Stanford in two weeks and they may get in because someone above will lose but they may need two to lose.
Oklahoma/Baylor/TCU: These guys along with Oklahoma State all seem to have games with each other. Sad to see Baylor go down yesterday. Their backup QB just wasn't quite up to it. A one loss Big 12 team is probably left out unless three teams above lose.
Michigan State - if they win out they have a shot I think

I've been watching a fair bit of video from Draft Breakdown and trying to come up with my top 10, I've got it down to the following 14 prospects:

RB Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State
WR Laquan Treadwell, Mississippi
OL Taylor Decker, Ohio State
OL Ronnie Stanley, Notre Dame
OL Laremy Tunsil, Mississippi
DT Kenny Clark, UCLA
DT A'Shawn Robinson, Alabama
DE/OLB Joey Bosa, Ohio State
DE/OLB Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State
LB Myles Jack, UCLA
LB Reggie Ragland, Alabama
LB Jaylon Smith, Notre Dame
CB Vernon Hargreaves, Florida
CB/S Jalen Ramsey, Florida State

I'm really high on those 3 OTs and as you can see I'm not very high on the QBs (Goff, Lynch, Cook), at least not in the top 10. My favourite QB is actually North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz, he has good size, great arm, quick delivery, athletic and has very smooth footwork. I think he'll be available in the second round but will need a year or two to develop.

Nice work, pretty similar lists

What are your thoughts on Goff? I liked him plenty early on but his propensity to throw INTs at critical moments is a real problem.

I like Lynch, but not in the top 10

Have you seen much of Notre Dame DL Sheldon Day? I've seen him rated anywhere from a 2nd rounder to a 4th rounder, but the few videos I've seen of him he looks like a top 10 player. He's undersized at 6'1 285, but so was Aaron Donald!

I love Treadwell, we've have some great WR prospects come out in recent years but I think he could be the best of the bunch

Also a sleeper QB I like is Ole Miss' Chad Kelly. He's accurate, very mobile and seems like a fiery leader.

I don't have a favourite QB so far this year though no real standouts atm

Still undecided on Goff will have to see how he goes the rest of the season, but unless he completely bombs I think he will go early.

Love Treadwell, stud imo

Agree on Day almost every Notre Dame game I've watched he has been one of the standouts, cant understand why he doesn't get more hype.

A few guys I think are underrated, maybe because of the position they play are Alex Collins RB from Arkansas, Paul Perkins UCLA, Derrick Henry Alabama & Devontae Booker Utah.

Big fan of Collins in particular he deserves a lot more recognition.

I'll check out those RBs

I just watched some Draft Breakdown videos of Missouri edge guy Charles Harris and wow, he's a redshirt sophomore and this is his first year as a starter, but he's looks like the total package. When he rushes the passer he reminds me of a stronger Dwight Freeney, complete with the spin moves!

If he comes out for the draft, I think he could be a top-15 prospect

The Missouri DL coach should really be looked at by NFL teams, they've produced some really impressive pass rushers over recent years

Jeremy McNicholls with an 83 yard rushing TD for Boise St on the first play of the game against Air Force.
